My Lipstick Collection (tiny but wonderful!)

Hello again friends! I'm sorry that its taken me so long to write up a new blog post, there has been a lot going on in my life and I literally haven't had the time to post!
Today I've decided to share with you all my tiny, but wonderful and forever growing lipstick collection. I would like to think that if it wasn't for me being unemployed and completely broke that my lipstick collection would be absolutely massive, because If I had my way I'd own every shade of a number of lipstick brands! My lipstick collection consists of very bold and bright lipsticks, statement lipsticks I'd like to call them! I'm all about bold colours and i'm not afraid of wearing something that wouldn't be a "normal" shade. If you wear the lipstick with confidence then you'll pull it off, wearing crazy and different colours is all about confidence! Most of my collection is MAC lipsticks, my personal favourite brand of lipsticks! I hope to add a lot more colours and brands to my lipstick collection, and build it up nicely. I have a long and forever growing wishlist of lipsticks to buy, and i'm slowly but surely working my way through it, next to buy will definitely be a nice nude lipstick, as I'm yet to own any!

(L to R)
 MAC 'Up The Amp'
Rimmel London Kate Moss Collection '04'
MAC 'Russian Red' (4th tube)
MAC 'Morange'
MAC 'Candy Yum-Yum'
Kryolan 'LC001'

As you can see my collection is very very small, but I think all of these lipsticks have a lot of character to them, and they all mix really well with each other to make up different shades. One of the main reasons that MAC lipsticks are my favourite is the pigmentation of their colours, they also have a brilliant wear time and last for hours when applied properly. At €18 each they are pricey, but I really think these lipsticks are definitely worth it, I'm onto my 4th tube of Russian Red and its my favourite red lipstick of all time. If you're on a budget and don't feel like forking out for MAC lipsticks, then my second favourite brand is definitely the Rimmel London Kate Moss collection. These lipsticks are incredibly pigmented, wear for hours and they come in a range of beautiful colours. At only around €8 each they really are a steal, I've been meaning to pick up a few more of these and definitely need to in the near future. The last lipstick is the incredible Kryolan lipstick. I bought this last year while visiting London, a friend had bought a few lipsticks from the store and reccomended them so I had to check them out! Kryolan are a stage make-up company so all of their products are made to wear for hours under hot stage lights, so its no lie when I say one application of this lipstick will last you nearly the whole day, its really incredible! Their lipsticks are also so pigmented and I can't wait to get back over to London and add more to my collection!

I promise that I'll update this blog more regularly in future, and I look forward to hearing some feedback from you all on my posts!

Thanks for reading!

Blog Introduction/Face of the Day; Gold and Cranberry

I'm incredibly new to all of this, but this is my attempt at starting a make-up and beauty blog. I'm an aspiring make-up artist from Dublin, Ireland. I have wanted to be a MUA for a long time now, but have only really started working hard at improving my skills within the last few weeks. This blog will be used to review beauty and make-up products, post about different trends and new releases in the make-up and beauty world. It will also be used as a personal make-up diary for me to post different looks and to keep track of the work that I do, how I improve and where I need to improve. All constructive criticism is welcomed, and would be much appreciated, as I have never done anything like this before (blogging) and I need to learn where to improve from an others point of view (make-up). I hope you enjoy my posts, and stick with me as I learn how to run a blog and write posts properly and in my quest to become a make-up artist.
Thanks,
Ash xo
